The Steve Lacy Production Tape: Songs Produced By Steve Lacy

Making waves as a member of the Internet, Steve Lacy sought out his potential and achieved a resume some artists dream of, all before the age of 21. Sure producing for the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Andre 3000, Tyler The Creator, Mac Miller, among others is impressive, creating productions off of his iPhone is even more impressive, but a developed artistry and being genuinely refreshing and smooth artistry is what sets himself apart from every other indie-r&b star.

Just shy off of a year from his debut album, Apollo XXI, as well as the epic Steve Lacy’s Demo, Lacy is as simple as he as unique, carrying his vocal abilities onto instrumentation that is funky and raw, particularly “Dark Red” and his work on Ravyn Lenae’s “Sticky”. Prepare for the greatness of Steve Lacy, as he’s undeniably one of the artists to watch, as each year he proves he has the capability to be even greater than he already was.
