Well, that was quick — Netflix is reportedly in talks to develop an untitled film centered around the GameStop stock fiasco that occurred last week.
Oscar-winning screenwriter, Mark Boal, is in negations to write the film, Deadline reports. Noah Centineo, is currently attached to play a major role. Brad Weston will produce the film with Nick Styne, and Mark Sourian as executive producer.
The film will highlight the stock spike for GameStop, AMC, and other businesses that saw an unpredictable surge. It will also depict the recent events of the attack at Capitol as well as President Biden becoming president.
No word yet on an official release date.
