Disclosure's "Energy" Is The Song Everyone Needs To Hear

Over the course of the last five years since the release of their sophomore album Caracal, electronic duo Disclosure (Howard and Guy Lawrence) have traveled to various cultures to formulate their next move. Within the timeline of adventures, Disclosure invited listens as guests as they explored the world of sound. This era in-between new albums can be considered the “droplet” era. As artists release new music that are not specific to an overall project but rather to test the waters.

But now the duo is finally committed to their third studio album Energy. Launching the new era, Disclosure have released the title track to the album, and it might sound a bit familiar. In 2013, Disclosure sampled motivational speaker Eric Thomas for the hit “When A Fire Starts To Burn”. To match the dynamic for a new time, the duo invites Thomas back. In just under five minutes, Disclosure return to their roots for an unmatched cycle of a fast-paced dose of energy.

Summoning listeners to focus on themselves, Eric Thomas guides you into the right direction. Blended with bright synths and exhilarating drums, the track is a festive declaration of embracing the endless possibilities of life. Whether than creating a cliché motivational anthem, Disclosure reignite a new spark that pieces together their experiences since their last run.
