Dua Lipa Announces Studio 2054 and Shares New Single

Dua Lipa is committed to her modern disco revival. The stunning sophomore album, Future Nostalgia, was inspired by the sounds of the past with a clear cut look into the lens of the future with a modern sound. With a slew of music videos, performances, and even a remix album, Dua Lipa remained consistent with the aesthetic and kept the era alive.

Now the “Levitating” singer has another trick up her sleeve as she has just announced Studio 2054. The new disco project is inspired by Studio 54 of course, the iconic New York disco nightclub which was established by its guests which ranged from Michael Jackson to David Bowie. Dua has announced the project on October 28th.

Studio 2054 will be a virtual livestream held on November 27th. Dua calls it a “live music video” that she wouldn’t be able to pull off on stage. The press release unveils more details on what fans should expect: “Dua will move through custom built sets; surreal tv shows, roller discos, ecstatic raves, trashy rocker hang outs, voguing ballrooms & diva style dressing rooms. Joined by surprise superstar guests”.
The popstar will perform songs from Future Nostalgia, Club Future Nostalgia, and her self-titled debut album, Dua Lipa. Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Tainy, Elton John, FKA Twigs, and Miley Cyrus will be joining her on stage.
Along with Studio 2054, Dua has announced a new single:
But that’s not all, the popstar also shares a new single titled “Fever”. The new single is a collaboration with Belgian singer Angèle, and is expected to impact the European market.

Dua Lipa will also be performing at this year’s American Music Awards. Check out the song above.
