Entering the Entergalactic Era?: Kid Cudi Releases New Song, Leader Of The Delinquents

Are we finally entering the Entergalactic Era?: Kid Cudi Releases New Song, Leader Of The Delinquents
“Get ready, pop it, let’s go, Entergalactic you and me”, lyrics to the 2009 song, Enter Galactic, are more relevant today than they were a decade ago. Preparing for his new era, Entergalactic, with a new album and an animated Netflix series (both sharing the same name), Kid Cudi has released a brand new single to help satisfy the cravings of new Kid Cudi music while we continuously wait.

Leader of the Delinquents, has officially been released, marking Kid Cudi's first solo release since 2016’s, Passion Pain Demon Slayin. First premiered during a livestream with Jaden Smith, Cudi left fans anticipating until he finally decided to release it. On the song, Cudi unleashes his inner rage, as he flows effortlessly, reminding listeners that he still got it.

Late last year, Kid Cudi had revealed that the album unfortunately won’t be released until 2021, but fans could expect a new mixtape. Around the same time, executive producer of the Entergalactic series, Kenya Barris revealed to Complex that each episode will have a 30 minute narrative. In which it’ll be based on a youthful love story as told through Cudi's music, and each episode will be centered around a brand new song.
The new album will feature a “crazy” Ty Dolla $ign collaboration as well as a Gucci Mane feature. For now, stream Kid Cudi's newest single below on CTRL’s curated weekly playlist mix, CTRL NEW TUNES NOW.
