In 2011, Shia LaBeouf began to add video directing to his resume. Making his directorial music video debut, LaBeouf shot and edited the music video for “Marijuana” — a song from Kid Cudi’s album Man On The Moon: The Legend of Mr. Rager. As well as the 10 minute short film, “Maniac”. 
“Born Villain” (2011) - Marilyn Manson
Punk-rock legend Marilyn Manson collaborate with Shia LaBeouf for a visual that seems outrageous on paper, but actually worked. The short film was the result of Manson being impressed by LaBeouf and the result is just as you’d expect. Standard twisted Marilyn Manson visuals that is dark and violent.
“Fjogur Piano” (2012) - Sigur Ross
Shia LaBeouf stars alongside Denna Thomsen in the music video for the hit by Sigur Ross. The two actors play the roles of a couple in an never-ending cycle that involves addiction and abuse.

For a song titled after yourself, it’s only necessary that you actually star in the music video. Right? And that’s exactly what Shia LaBeouf did. Singer-songwriter Rob Cantor wrote the song about the actor in the perspective of him being a cannibal who participates in killing other people as a sport.

Nashville duo Future Unlimited, enlisted the actor to direct his third music video. In the weary music video, LaBeouf directs an uncomfortable short film that involves a crying baby and a bloodbath.
“Elastic Heart” (2015) - Sia
For Shia LaBeouf’s most controversial involvement with a music video, the actor starred in the music video for Sia’s hit “Elastic Heart”. The video depicts an dance cage match between LaBeouf and familiar Sia collaborator, Maddie Ziegler. Near moments after the video premiered viewers were quick to call out the perverted nature of the visual — which ultimately allowed the video to become the eighth most viewed video of that year. 
"Gang Activities" (2019) - Baby Keem
Impressing hip-hop fans with a specific style that instantly captures your attention, Baby Keem has been on the radar since 2018. In his short career, Keem has impressed unlikely names that has included none other than Shia LaBeouf himself. In 2019, the actor directed the music video for the rappers single "Gang Activities". A unique direction that captures the essence of both acts involved.
