Freddie Gibbs is aiming to release yet another Rap Album of the Year contender. This time, the rapper reveals he's working with Pharrell Williams, Mike Will Made It, Hitboy, and more. He will also be reuniting with Madlib and The Alchemist for the project.
He proclaims that the album will be "the best produced album" he has ever made. Gibbs went on to speak on his Grammys lost to Nas, as he and The Alchemist were up for Best Rap Album for 'Alfredo' at this year's ceremony, which went to 'King's Disease'. He said: “If you’re gonna lose to somebody, you’re gonna want to lose to Nas,” he shrugs, evidently motivated by the loss. “Nas is a hall of fame MC. If anything it just shows how great I am to lose to such an MC. I could’ve lost to Macklemore or something.”
