Kanye West Was Originally Featured on Travis Scott’s “Skeletons”

It was a surprise to many when Kanye West wasn’t featured on Travis Scott’s 2018 blockbuster album Astroworld. Despite Travis Scott releasing the Kanye West and Lil Uzi Vert assisted “Watch” just months prior to the album, he still managed to get Kanye some writing credits on the song “Skeletons”.

But it has just came to the attention of fans that Kanye West was involved in more than just the writing. A newly surfaced snippet of the original version of the song unveils that Kanye West had a verse that was scrapped and later, some elements of it was used for the Kids See Ghosts album closer “Cudi Montage”. The collaborative joint project between Kanye and Kid Cudi arrived just two months prior to Travis Scott’s third studio album.

It’s also interesting to note that Kevin Parker assisted on the production of “Skeletons”, as well as on Kanye’s “Violent Crimes” from the album Ye.
