Despite not releasing any material since 2018, Kendrick Lamar is making chart history. Kendrick Lamar’s major label debut album good kid, m.A.A.d city spends over 400 weeks on the Billboard 200 albums chart, making it the longest-charting hip-hop studio album in history.

Eminem’s 2002 greatest hits record Curtain Call: The Hits is the longest charting hip-hop album but is not officially a studio album.

Released in October 2012, the album is highly regarded as one of the best hip-hop albums of the last decade. The album spawned hits such as “Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibes” and “Swimming Pools (Drank)” – which both peaked in the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100.
