The official remix to Pop Smoke’s “Iced Out Audemar” has just been released and it features Lil Wayne. Originally featured on the late rapper’s posthumous debut album Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon, the song gets revamped with an action-packed verse courtesy of the rap veteran.
Keeping it classic, Wayne arrives and re-sets the tone of the song. Doing a great job on the already hit-sounding original, Pop Smoke proves he was able to maintain his own, even with the greats. With his effortless charm and charisma, the late rapper stands tall as he allows the rap icon to come in and do what he does his best.
Proving he still got it, even when critics decide to write him off, Lil Wayne delivers an energetic guest verse that Pop Smoke would be proud of. Neither overshadowing or overwhelming the late rapper or the original verse, Wayne’s contribution to the remix further elevated Pop Smoke’s status. With the Lil Wayne co-sign, it proves that Pop Smoke was continuously aiming for higher highs, and his career was one that would’ve been exciting to witness evolve.
