Ranking All 22 No. 1 Hits of 2020 On The Billboard Hot 100

It was a record breaking year on the charts. Over 22 songs topped the Billboard Hot 100 and some songs made history, for the better or for the worst.

The likes of Kid Cudi and Nicki Minaj scored their first No. 1 hits on the Billboard charts after their decade long careers. Roddy Ricch blocked the likes of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez with his career defining hit "The Box". And four black women occupied the top 2 spots for the first time as Beyoncè, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, and Nicki Minaj made history.

12 songs debuted at No. 1, and only half of them stayed on the charts for longer than 4 weeks. The likes of Taylor Swift, BTS, and 6ix9ine had No. 1 hits that dropped over 30 positions. And to end this chaotic year in music, Mariah Carey returned to No. 1 with her classic "All I Want For Christmas" as the true gift giver along with Travis Scott who provided two of his idols, Kid Cudi and M.I.A their first No.1s.
