SZA Unable To Release New Music
Three years ago, SZA spoke to all twenty-somethings with the release of her debut album CTRL. The full-length body of work translated with listeners due to the raw appeal of an emotive young singer-songwriter. CTRL helped to define a generation of adults who are lost on the scary adventure that is growing up.
Now, after much demand, SZA provides an update for fans, alluding to the fact she's not in control to release new music. With fans continuously asking for new music, SZA directed them to ask Punch, head of Top Dawg Entertainment, to provide fans with a release of new music. Check out the tweets below and see for yourself why #FREESZA is currently trending:
At this point y’all gotta ask punch. I’ve done all I can do . 🙏🏾

Fans also realized that SZA was in a similar situation before in 2016, prior to the release of her debut album Ctrl
#freesza look out how they’ve BEEN miss treating @sza it ain’t even just a label thing anymore. It’s the mismanagement of female artist in the music industry. This happens to many female artist like Normani and so forth. Sad 😔 pic.twitter.com/k0DSAVnNyj
