The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, and DaBaby Lead the 2020 MTV EMAs Nominations

The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, and DaBaby are among the names that lead this year’s MTV EMAs (Europe Music Awards) nominations. MTV unveiled the nominations on Tuesday, while also revealing a new COVID friendly category: Best Virtual Live.

MTV announced the return of the EMAs with the statement: "It's no secret that 2020 has been an absolutely wild year so far. From virtual live stream performances to the birth of a plethora of amazing quarantine content, the world sure has rolled with the punches and embraced these unpredictable changes! Obviously, the MTV EMAs will be no different! ... Get ready for a night of jaw-dropping performances from the hottest artists while celebrating the power of music in 2020”.

The show will air on Sunday, Nov. 8, globally on MTV across 180 countries. Check out the official list of nominees below:
